Can I do a cartwheel here?

So days 3, 4 & 5 exploring Rome all followed a similar pattern.

1) Wake up way to early for a holiday,

2) explore (aka get lost) during the quieter morning time

3) as boys start to complain, search out a place to stop and have a reasonably priced coffee and drink (not easy)

4) rejuvenated enter some amazing mind blowing historical monuments

5) continue to explore (get lost) whilst looking for a reasonably priced place for lunch. Eat yummy but eye watering expensive food in a park or restaurant

6) head to a park for boys to run and climb and middle man to practice his parkour

7) walk back to monastery as heat became unbearable, cool off in fountains and give in to requests for gelato

8) collapse in room with ac and wifi for an hour or so… and rest to the shouts of brawl star matches

9) quick 20min workout and stretch (gotta keep up the workouts!)

10) park picnic dinner or restaurant depending on perceived spend of the day 😂 followed by evening walks enjoying the monuments lit up and the sounds and sights of buskers.

Oh and yes… we managed to successfully throw coins in the Trevi fountain! So now all the boys will return to Rome and marry a Italian 😂😂

Rome you have been amazing! Very Hot, very very expensive but completely fascinating.
