I bet a trex ate it

We are heading to Nelspriut to meet friends and hopefully get our visas for Mozambique.  The drive was straight forward enough and we arrived at our campsite about 30mins West of the city. Another beautiful spot nestled between two hills. Setting up the tent obviously disturbed the local cricket population, their chorus grew uncomfortably load. I have never heard a forest make such a racket.

We visited a sudwala caves, it was massive!  Deep and tall! With fascinating rock structures. Well I thought they were,  the boys however didn’t.  They enjoyed running around and shouting echo though. Half way round baby blue decides he wants a feed. So I can now add tens of meters under ground to list of strange places I have breastfed.

Next stop a dinosaur park. To say the boys were a bit excited was an understatement. By European standards the attraction was dated to say the least (it sent me back to the museums I visited as a child the 80’s), but the boys did not care. They thoroughly enjoyed running through the hill side forest spotting mostly intact and almost recognizable models of dinosaurs. In-fact the more disfigured the better.  ‘look mummy this one has lost a leg, I bet a T-Rex ate it’

As well as the dinosaurs we were rewarded with vistas overlooking the mountain Valley. We even managed a rare family shot (notice who is furthest from the edge)!

After the third time round I can not take any more dinosaurs so we headed to a hillside restaurant again enjoying the view as we ate. Baby blue consistently testing my fear of heights by standing (and climbing)  right at the barrier.
